There is something special about Bundaleer Forest Weekend that sets it apart from any other music or arts festival.

The unique location of this event - in the heart of the Bundaleer Forest - creates an unrivalled atmosphere that you cannot help but fall in love with.

Be caught up in the festival atmosphere, take in the world class musical and theatre acts - enjoy one or stop to enjoy 10, it is all at your own leisure - and wander along to the Bundaleer picnic grounds to enjoy some delicious food and local Bundaleer wine.

Suzlon Bistro

Be tempted by the gourmet fare in the Suzlon Bundaleer Bistro featuring a mouthwatering menu from Wild Saffron of the Clare Valley.

Follow your nose to the aroma of Rio coffee wafting from the espresso machine and match it with some fresh desserts and cakes. Or take your time and dine in on sumptuous risotto made from fresh regional produce, Wild Saffron's famous lasagne and Greek salad, Thai beef salad using organic, Bundaleer grazed beef from the Malone family's Maleer Red Poll stud, or cheese and antipasto platters.

Relax in the marquee or under a market umbrella alfresco.

Gourmet Picnic and Dinner Hampers

If you would prefer to 'take away', why not pre-order a Wild Saffron gourmet picnic or dinner hamper for two. Collect them from the bistro and head off to find a picnic spot .

Try a Gourmet Picnic Hamper of Barossa bark, marinated olives, roasted capsicum, sundried tomatoes, salami, smoked ham, Neagles Rock Clarebert and Mt Jagged mature cheddar cheeses, or a Gourmet Dinner Hamper which includes crusty bread, smoked ham, smoked chicken served with London Hill spicy tomato relish; camembert, apple and potato terrine with Moroccan jam, served with antipasto of marinated olives, asparagus and roasted capsicum.

Food Stalls

There will be plenty to choose from in the food arena, with Roast Black Rock Plains beef, pastas and sauces, yummy spinach and cheese and spinach and lamb pastries, Smoked Vienna Hahndorf Kranski dogs, pies, pasties, salad rolls, sandwiches, yiros, barbecue, rabbit, pork, lamb products, hamburgers, grilled fish and salad and kebabs.

Enjoy sweets of natural ice-cream, fresh fruit sorbet, pancakes and creamy, local Golden North ice-cream or a homemade cake.

Wash it all down with local winemaker Angela Meaney's award-winning Bundaleer Wines, or grab a cold beer or soft drink at the Bundaleer Wines Bar.

There will also be bottled water, freshly squeezed juice, iced coffee, milk shakes and FC Grubb's locally produced traditional soda.

Please do not bring any glass containers or alcohol.

For everyone's safety and comfort the Bundaleer Forest Weekend is a Smoke Free Event.

As the Event is held during the Forestry SA's Total Fire Ban period there is absolutely no smoking permitted anywhere on the site.

Bundaleer Forest Weekend promotes responsible drinking of alcohol, so don't forget to nominate a designated driver, take advantage of the shuttle bus back to town or book a bus from Clare or Burra for the Saturday by calling the event office on 8664 0455.
